What is Enquiry-Based Learning? What does it mean for me?

"EBL is student-centred learning based on real world case studies, events, issues and scenarios. It's designed to help you maximise your education by taking responsibility for your learning and driving your own knowledge generation. EBL allows you to take control of how you work and gives you the freedom to explore subject areas that are important to you. As well as developing discipline specific skills, EBL gives you a vehicle to access essential transferable skills providing experience of team work, problem solving, communication and creativity - all things that employers are looking for".
