KEY RESOURCES

The Centre for Excellence in Enquiry-Based Learning (CEEBL) was one of 74 Centres for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETLs) awarded by HEFCE to promote excellence in teaching and learning in higher education.

The funding expired in June 2010 and this site is now in an archive state.

CEEBL extended EBL methods to teaching across all four Faculties of the University of Manchester, worked with students in a collaborative way and successfully developed tutors' expertise over the past five years.

CEEBL Resources A range of resources were produced by CEEBL over the years. These include Case Studies (examples of EBL and PBL), Academic Papers (defining the process of EBL) and Technical Guides (supporting the best use of software for teaching and learning).

Student Engagement CEEBL promoted and supported student-led education. The Student Network linked students who werwe involved in teaching and learning across the country, including the Student Learning and Teaching Network

CEEBL Projects CEEBL projects were written up as case studies. The projects section lists examples of applied EBL and PBL from a range of academic disciples, settings and institutions from 2005-10.
